- Student is required to pass Proposal Defense, Progress Defense, and Final Defense in order to qualify for graduation.
- Each defense track requires student to submit a hard copy of the final version (no further revision) of the research report and give an oral presentation. The research report must be submitted to the advisor and all committees at least 14 days prior to the defense date.
- For Thesis track, a formal acceptance-notification of conference paper or journal paper must be declared prior to the final submission of Thesis report.
- Other research requirements may be required by the advisor and committees before graduation.
