First runner-up of the Young Thai Science Ambassador Award 2008

A team of two Computer Science students from SIU: Mr. Kumpol Sricharoen and Mr. Pahuton Sriwichai participated in the Young Thai Science Ambassador Award 2008 — Climate Change Challenge, which was a project of the National Science Museum, the British Council, Thailand, True Vision Co., Ltd. and the Royal Science Society of Thailand under the patronage of his Majesty the King. The team submitted a project about global warming entitled “Save Energy, Save the World”, and passed the regional round, the final round, and eventually was selected as the first runner-up in this award.
