Asst.Prof.Dr. Sirisup Laohakiat and his team received the best paper award from the 14th International Conference on Computing and Information Technology (IC2IT), held at Shangri-La Hotel Chiang Mai, Thailand. The paper title “Temporal Analysis of Twitter Response and Performance Evaluation of Twitter Channels using Capacitor Charging Model”.
On June 18, 2018, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Boonsom Lerdhirunwong, President of Shinawatra University, and Asst. Prof. Krissada Maleewong, Dean of Faculty of Science and Technology, attended the grand signing ceremony of 2 million baht with the Commission on Higher Education representatives at the 5th floor of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Sripatum University. The grand is part of the Commission on Higher Education’s project in boosting entrepreneurship in Thailand.

Numbers of SoIT undergraduate and postgraduate students presented their research and projects in both oral and poster sessions. A special talk entitled “Should you join a big company or a startup?” was presented by Mr.Nopachat Kalayanapan, Managing Director of Beehive Co., Ltd.

As part of their program of studies, students are required to present their work in public. On August 7th, 2013, the School of Information Technology organized a seminar at Shinawatra University Bangkok Campus (BBD) on the topic : “Cloud Computing: Case Study on Cloud Application Development Based on Amazon AWS”.
